This is a full-time on-site role for a Graduate Accountant. The Graduate Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements, preparing tax returns and BAS's, and assisting with audits. The Graduate Accountant will also be responsible for providing support to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Statements: Prepare accurate financial statements for a range of client entities.

  • Tax Returns & BAS: Prepare individual, company, and trust income tax returns as well as Business Activity Statements.

  • Audit Assistance: Assist senior staff with audit engagements and related compliance work.

  • Client Support: Provide day-to-day support to clients, attending to queries and communications as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Accounting Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (must-have).

  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and concepts.

  • Software Skills: Experience in using accounting software is beneficial.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and a methodical, detail-oriented approach to tasks.

  • Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.

  • Experience: Accounting experience or relevant internships are beneficial.

  • CA Pathway: Working towards becoming a Chartered Accountant is a plus.
